Xi'an 西安, the capital of Shaanxi 陕西 Province, was the last stop of my Silk Road trip. The city has > 3,100 years of history & was called Chang'an 长安 in the ancient China. It is listed as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China due to it has been the capital of 13 dynasties. One of the main attractions of this city is of course the renowned Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses 兵马俑. But the place that I love most is the Shaanxi History Museum 陕西历史博物馆, which houses > 300,000 antiques including murals, paintings, pottery etc from various dynasties. It is definitely worth to spend at least one full day in the museum itself.

If there is a chance, I will be back again to this city one day as I didn't spend enough time there, especially the museum. Also, I didn't manage to capture enough photos of this city and most of the photos taken are not so satisfactory, as it was drizzling everyday during the few days of our stay there.
