Last year I decided to up sticks and head down to South America in a brazen attempt not to get robbed or have any of my vital organs removed. I went from the heat of tropical Ecuador all the way down to the frigid cold of Tierra del Fuego at the very bottom of the continent and spent most of the time exploring ruins, landscapes and wildlife. Will I make it to Ushuaia in one piece? Will anyone mug me? Will my Spanish improve beyond, "Donde este la Llama?" Only time will tell.
