Thaipusam is a Hindu Festival in Malaysia whereby devotees who had been making vows while praying in a Hindu temple hoping for a wish come true.

During this festival, devotees had to fulfill their vows by carrying jars of milk on their heads or carrying a Kavadi with spokes piercing into their bodies, cheeks and tongues without any signs of pain.
