At a press of a button, hundreds of devotees and donors were able to light up the largest Buddhist Monastery complex in South East Asia, "The Kek Lok Si temple" and turned it into a brightly lit and sparkling fairyland in Penang.
With a total of more than 10,000 lanterns and 230,000 decorative tiny bubs of all sizes and designs,they will be illuminating every shrines, pagoda and gardens nightly from 11th February to 17th of March 2007.
