HISTORIC HAYMARKET DISTRICT IN LINCOLN, NE: Located in a restored turn-of-the-20th-century warehouse district in downtown Lincoln, it began as an open-air market for produce and livestock. It is still an open-air market where everyone can find produce, crafts, bakery and flowers during the summer months and where you'll find hundreds of Lincolnites and visitors on Saturday mornings. It also has shops, boutiques, restaurants, entertainment and...the railroad station. You'll never forget the "Sea of Red" when there is a football game at the University of Nebraska and everyone comes in their "Husker Red." Come early!
