Some photos from a Sunday afternoon in Hebden Bridge & Heptonstall, about a 40 minute train journey from Leeds, on the way to Blackburn & Preston. Heptonstall is a pretty, cobbled street village which sits on a hill above Hebden Bridge. It was a steep climb by foot. Hebden Bridge was once an important milling town halfway between Manchester and Leeds. The Rochdale canal runs through Hebden Bridge and is very picturesque, full of colourful canal boats.
