The following collection of shots was gathered from many trips around the country where some particular detail in the scene caught my eye because of interesting forms, colors, contrasting details or patterns. It's a rewarding excercise to zoom in close or to look at a subject from a different perspective. Besides the grand vistas its fun to look for those "pictures within a picture" that can often be overlooked.
