Washington Square Park in the Spring

It/s Saturday April 12th, the first day of spring in New York, and I go down into the park with my digital camera to take it all in. New York is a celebration. Check out the Baci players in the park! Check out the doggies doing their doggie thing! Check out the guitar players! Check out the singers! Check out the blossoming trees! Check out the street fair (but don/t eat anything). Very sweet(too short!) article about my son'e fave park. Subj. in pix quite core to NYer type topics. Where else could 1 find such peculiar particular "acts" and beauties of nature? I'm also touched by the difference in these views if seen 4/12/02...pls. re-enact this yr. if poss! luv the freshness lighted flowers and towers juxtaposed(Judsonposed)with church cross..very ironic 4 me, U2? Spring in New York
Your photos, David, produce a wonderful effect of presence and witnessing the events in the park that you are shooting.
