After a six night safari tour of Namibia with only one elephant sighting we spent a day at the Chobe Safari Lodge in The Chobe National Park in Botswana. 60,000 of the 75,000 estimated elephants in Botswana reside in this park and there were plenty of opportunities to observe elephants here. Botswana appears to have a slightly higher standard of living compared to Namibia. The river cruise and subsequent safari drive were both excellent ways to observe various animals in their natural habitat.
