Longridge Park is a very large bushland area 25 km NE of Melbourne, on the Yarra River, in Warrandyte.

It includes the Longridge Camp.

The site was taken over by the former Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Works in 1977 from the Cameron family. It was utilised for grazing beef cattle. The Cameron family may have named the property after the long ridge running down to the picturesque campsite beside the Yarra River. ... (more)
