A mother & her calf
Sightseeing in Rajasthan picture - After a long gestation period of 13 months, a camel cow usually bears a single calf, & occasionally twins. The calves walk within hours of birth, but remain close to their mothers until they reach maturity at five years of age. It takes at least 4 weeks for their humps to appear. Baby camels usually grow close an inch in height in a week. Some are born white, then change color.
