Our stop this time was to a World Cultural Heritage Site :- Ryoanji Temple - Historic Monument of Ancient Kyoto. Ryoanji Temple is a Zen temple, situated in the northwest of Kyoto. Ryoanji Temple means The Temple of the Peaceful Dragon. The temple is famous for its karesansui ( dry landscape) rock garden.
