Motorized vehicles are not allowed in the park, which made it very peaceful. If you go, hire a guide. They are not expensive and they know the area & the birds. Apparently, they charge about Rs 70 per hour (Rs 120 per hour for groups of more than 5). Cycle rickshaws are available for Rs 50 per hour and can take you into the center of the park, which is not a bad idea if you are packing a lot of photographic gear. You can also rent bicycles.
