Lima is the capital city of Peru and it is my first stop for my June 2006 vacation in Peru, Bolivia and Chile. I have wanted to see Lima for a long time as it contains some of the most splendid Spanish colonial buildings in Latin America. The historic centre of Lima is a UNESCO world heritage site, and it was one of the most important cities during Spanish colonial time. Needless to say, I enjoyed my time in Lima very much and would love to come back in the future.
