The walled City Palace of Jaipur, in the center of Jaipur, is the main palace & the seat of the government. It has been & still is the home to the Maharaja and Maharani of Jaipur. Formal receptions, as well as royal weddings & birthdays, religious festivals, and coronations of a new maharaja are held here.
