Bangkok, Thailand was the last major stop for my November 2006 backpacking trip to East Asia and certainly is one of my favourite cities in the world. This article focuses on the three major and spectacular sites in the Thai capital - The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Po. Wat is Thai for a temple. These three places are indeed very grand and impressive! I will have another article on other sites in Bangkok.
