The West Edmonton Mall is the most well known tourist attraction in Edmonton. Its website still claims the mall to be the world's largest entertainment and shopping centre. I like to visit the mall when it is very cold in the winter time and when I need to do some shopping. In terms of shopping, the shops are mainly suburban in nature. I also find that some parts of the mall may look a bit tired. However, this remains an entertaining place for a leisurely afternoon with pretty good people watching.
