I went to Yamanashi in late April 2007, visiting Mt. Fuji, the 5 lakes at the base, Shosenkyo Gorge, and Nishizawa Gorge. I hadn't been in the area for at least 10 years, when I lived in Japan before, so it was natsukashii.
