We passed some medieval-looking towns clinging to steep hillsides where people seemed to still live the same lifestyle they might have a few hundred years ago. Dark stone houses with few windows, dirt floors, no electricity, carrying water from the town water spigot, and animals living in the same compound. Though it looks like a ghost town, the houses in this picture are actually inhabited.
