I started the trek with my Spanish friend from India, however, a new friend we met on the bus on the way to the trek got sick on the second day and Paloma stayed behind to help her out. I continued by myself as I had a flight to catch and had to stay on track. Luckily, I met a very nice couple from New Zealand to trek with the rest of the way.
