I passed through here on the last day of the trek on my way to Jomsom, when the winds were blowing so strongly that I had a hard time standing upright and my skin felt like it was being pumiced. Despite the scouring wind, I thought the dry, dust landscape was very beautiful and reminiscent of the American West, complete with pony trains.
