Versailles, one of the great symbols of French majesty and another UNESCO world heritage site, was another great day trip I had while in Paris. Originally I did not plan on visiting Versailles, but after coming back from Chartres, I decided to join the Sunday tour. I did not realize that on Sundays, they would turn on the spectacular fountains on the grounds of Versailles. I really lucked out and enjoyed my tour to this very grand and opulent palace very much.
