Perched like an eagle's nest in the mountains, some 420 meters above sea level, is the ancient fortified village of Eze. From the Jardin Exotique at the top of the village, is one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the whole Côte d'Azur stretching from Italy to Saint Tropez. More than 400 specimens of plants including cactus, agaves and aloes are grouped together in the Jardin Exotique which was created in 1949 in the ruins of a castle.
