A few years ago I did a gig for Fodor's Great American Vacations. I covered Hot Springs and Eureka Springs, both in Arkansas. Recently, I came across these photos of Eureka Springs and wanted to show them because they reflect a side of Eureka that is outside the Victorian Village tag it is so well-known for. There are some very unique sites to see here including Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, Eureka Springs Gardens, an Abundant Memories Historical Village.

At Quigley's Castle there is a fine collection of Bottle Trees. For a better understanding of this folk phenomena visit: http://buyoutsidethebox.com/blog/2007/05/bottle-trees-curiosity-of-ozarks.html

You could easily spend a week in Eureka and not run out of things to do. They also have a lot of incredible restaurants in relation to being such a small population town.
