Zaanse Schans was the place that my hostel recommended me to go to see the famous Dutch windmills and picturesque traditional Dutch buildings. I was not disappointed. The village was very picturesque with many giant Dutch windmills and traditional buildings. You can also see clog making, cheese market and souvenir stores selling the famous Delft blue ceramic items.
