Mexico - San Miguel de Allende - 1999
|
San Miguel is a lovely colonial city I visited with my Mexico City manager Ben and his girlfriend on the last weekend I was in Mexico. Surely it was a very memorable journey that I would like to share with you. Unfortunately I did not take any photos and only asked Ben to take some landmark buildings with me in the photos. My impression of San Miguel is its beautifully preserved brightly painted Spanish colonial architecture lining the cobblestone streets. The hotel was very nice, and the main square (el jardin) was just charming with a beautiful church. At night, the buildings were nicely lit up and the city was pretty safe to walk around. I had a very good Italian dinner with Ben and Lizbeth. Hopefully I will return one day to experience this charming city again. I would like to thank Ben for his hospitality to take me to San Miguel before I left Mexico. Please note that these photos were scanned.
