Sucre was our third stop in Bolivia after Copacabana and La Paz. It is without doubt one of the most spectacular and beautiful cities I have seen. The architecture in the city centre is Spanish colonial with French flavour, all whitewashed every year as per government edict. Hence this beautiful city is called La Ciudad Blanca or the white city. The whitewashed walls contrast sharply with the clear blue Bolivian sky.
