San Francisco, city by the bay, is probably one of the most popular and distinctive cities in the U.S. for tourists. I liked San Francisco for its welcoming atmosphere, beautiful harbour, beautiful Victorian buildings and homes, sunny weather and friendly people. It was quite a challenge to walk through the hilly city though. It was sunny the whole time I was there and I got a sunburn after the second day of my vacation! Otherwise, I had a good time in this city. My hostel was beautiful but was located in a rougher area of town that I was not prepared for...I met a great Scottish guy during my stay and we chatted anything from sightseeing to politics.
