My former colleague Troy recommended Monterey and Carmel to me when I told him I was going to San Francisco. It was a relaxing day trip. The coastline was very nice and a highlight of my journey. We stopped for lunch and I opted for some very good Mexican food. Then we went to Monterey. The tour of Monterey was done mainly on the bus and I did not take any photos. Monterey downtown had quite a few Spanish revival buildings that I liked. Next stop was the Cannery Row. I did not have the time to go to the world class Monterey Aquarium. ... (more)
