Melaka, one of the most historic cities in Malaysia, is another highlight of my trip to East Asia. This city has one of the best collections of colonial style Malaysian rowhouses in Chinatown and a very impressive replica of Melaka Sultanate palace with pretty Malay pavilions and gardens. In addition, the European style colonial structures are very interesting with Dutch, Portuguese and British stamping their marks on this city.
