I did a day trip to the world heritage Great Barrier Reef in November 2004 while I visited Australia. I chose a tour that would offer introductory scuba diving. In retrospect, as I was not a water person, I should have chosen a glass boat tour. However, I really had fun with the 25 minute tour of the reef under the water.
