I took a spectacular trip with a company called Earth River down the Futaleufu river in Chile in 2004. The trip included hiking, rafting, rock climbing, rapelling, and horseback riding. The river was beautiful and the rafting was very exciting (class 4 and 5 rapids, with boats flipping and people being tossed out). The camps were also great, with beautiful sites and hot tubs at some of the camps. Definitely one of the best vacations I have ever taken.
