Brisbane was my second major stop for my 2004 trip to Australia. I found Brisbane to be a pleasant and vibrant city with a good mix of old and new. My favourite sights are the South Bank Parklands with the Nepalese pagoda, the Queen Street pedestrian mall, Waterfront Place and the imposing Queensland Parliament House.
