Few outsiders know Macuiltépetl Park. This enormous park of 31 hectares is right in the middle of the city of Xalapa, capital of Veracruz State, Mexico, about 120 kilometers from the port city of Veracruz. It is a small volcanic hill with two craters, one on the side and one near the top. The paved path circles like a corkscrew up to the top.
