Beloe Ozero is situated up North quiet far from Moscow about 800km or more. It's famous for it's monastery - used to be one of the biggest in Russia (now partly monastery - partly museum). It looks like the White Lake (Beloe Ozero) was a traditional trade route from northern regions of Russia and Baltic countries to East and South as far Muslim countries and of course Greco-Roman Constantinopolis Empire.
