One of my former colleagues recommended me to see Fraser Island – a UNESCO world heritage site. The same former colleague also made a good recommendation to see the Daintree River/Cape Tribulation, which was featured in another separate article. Fraser Island was an excellent suggestion and the island was just incredibly beautiful and truly exceptional. The day trip was quite long from Brisbane but so worth it.
