Canberra is the federal capital of Australia and it is one of the more unusual destinations I have ever been to. It is a purposely built city to become the Australian capital. As a result, I got an “artificial” feel from this otherwise lovely city. The capital is very spacious and has many beautiful parks, making it a very pleasant place to visit. The Australian parliament building was just amazing, as was the Australian War Memorial. I was very touched by the exhibits and narratives of the Australian War Memorial. One ... (more)
