Melbourne was my last stop in Australia after a long overnight bus ride from Canberra. Melbourne was one of my favourite cities in Australia. It has many fine old British colonial style buildings from the turn of the century. The Golden Mile is one of Australia’s most historic walks. It leads past elegant and stately buildings like the Victoria State Houses of Parliament, old Treasury Building and the tree lined Collins street.
