Ottawa, the national capital, was my last stop prior to going back to Toronto to attend my cousin’s wedding. I visited two great national institutions – the magnificent Gothic style Parliament Buildings and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. It really was a dream come true to see the Parliament Hill. I took a tour of the buildings and walked around the wonderful Byward market. The pedestrian Sparks street mall is very nice as well.
