In our previous visits to the Scotland, we have always shortchanged Glasgow for some reason. Perhaps this was because there is just so much else to see and do in Scotland, perhaps because Glasgow doesn't present its best face from the highways as you try to get through it to somewhere else. We have stopped by on previous trips. We even took the train into town to do some shopping once. We always liked what we saw and realized those highway impressions of the city were very unfair.
