Aranjuez, a UNESCO world heritage site, was a convenient train ride from Madrid. I visited the beautiful palace and walked around its charming streets when I visited for an afternoon. Many shops were closed during the siesta time, so the town was very quiet when I visited. Please note that these photos were scanned by Walmart.
