A visit to Maui should definitely include getting a 4-wheel drive vehicle and devoting some time to checking out the volcano dome of Mt. Haleakala, the beautiful coastline, and the unspeakably scenic drive along the Hana highway, replete with waterfalls and breathtaking vistas of ocean and cliffs, as one carefully drives along twisting and narrow roads. (No billboards, thank you very much!)
