Penang Hill is actually a series of 4 hilltops in the range running north &#38; south down the center of the island, with the highest being Western Hill at 833m (2723 feet). The top of the hill that is the subject of this journal is about 1/3 of the way down from the top. The large island off the bottme east coast of the island is Pulau Jerejak, a former leper colony that has recently been developed into a resort &#38; spa destination.
