I have chosen this broad title so as to include various denominations of Christian churches in Ottawa, be they Orthodox or Roman Catholic, which follow liturgical or artistic traditions differing somewhat from the more familar western denominations. These churches have a different altar arrangement, and many have magnificent icons, but there are few stained glass windows.
