During the Lunar New Year holidays in January, we went for a day trip and it happened to be the coldest day of the year... at 9am, at the resort at the base of the mountain, it was - wait for it - MINUS 25 DEGREES CELCIUS. WithOUT windchill. Damn. That's. Cold. Needless to say, the slopes were particularly UN-crowded that day.
