Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan. Also known as the Queen city, I was very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the summer of Regina was around the Wascana Lake. During my 1999 Saskatoon visit, mom and I took my relatives from Saskatoon to Regina for a day trip. We spent our time mainly around the majestic Saskatchewan legislature, one of the most beautiful legislative buildings in Canada. The rotunda has stunning jade colour marble.
