Kuala Lumpur is the modern capital of Malaysia and my final stop in Malaysia prior to going to Phuket in Thailand. This article focuses on my favourite traditional or heritage sights in the city – the beautiful and exotic Merdeka Square, the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, Chinatown, the excellent Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex and its beautiful Malay architecture and Kampung Bahru, a Malay neighbourhood.
