Back in Part 1, I mentioned how Avebury's pre-historic monuments (located in southern England) dates back to 2,000 B.C during the Neolithic Age which is in the same time frame of the ancient civilizations of Babylon, Mesopotamia, Egypt & India.

However, I just read in "Lonely Planet's" European guide book that it dates back to 3,500 B.C. which is almost twice older than 2,000 B.C. which is what the Encyclopedia Britanica states.

Hence, this pre-historic monument of Avebury is really old, much older than nearby ... (more)
