In front are two large staircases, &#38; on either side of the throne are verandahs - the one on the right side was mainly used by court children, the one on the left by religious men, merchants &#38; worthy citizens. The pillars and cross-beams were made of the high quality cengal wood from Kedah, &#38; the roofs were made of rumbia (a type of palm-tree). </div></nolayer></noembed>
