as seen from the Buddhist temple. This state-of-the-art communication tower was built between 1995-1998 for Telekom Malaysia. The 165.5m tower, the second tallest in Malaysia, is the most prominent landmark in town, & functions as both a telecommunications tower & a tourist attraction. Breathtaking views from the observation deck at 88m include vast expanses of paddy fields for which the state is famous. The tower also houses some restaurants & a souvenir shop.
